Safely transfer tickets between people who don't know each other.
Fans shouldn't have to choose between expensive resale fees and risky private transfers. Secure Ticket Transfer gives a buyer and a seller who already found each other a protected way to finish the deal — verified accounts, a protected payment, transfer confirmation, and seller payout controls.
A safer way to complete a private ticket sale
Secure Ticket Transfer is for two people who have already found each other — through a group chat, a fan forum, a social post, or a listing here — and now need to actually complete the exchange. We don't buy or resell tickets and we hold no ticket inventory. The ticket itself always moves through the original provider, from the seller's account to the buyer's.
What we add is structure around the money and the handoff: verified users, protected payments that aren't released the moment a stranger asks, a step where the buyer confirms the tickets actually arrived, and seller payout controls. If the deal goes sideways, there's a refund process and dispute support instead of a silent chat thread. Learn how a protected ticket transfer works.
I found someone selling tickets
Don't send an e-Transfer to a stranger. Bring the deal here so your payment is protected until you confirm the tickets landed in your account. See what buyer protection covers, or read up on common ticket scams first.
Start as a buyerI already found a buyer
Transfer the tickets knowing the payment is already secured and a chargeback can't quietly undo the sale. See how seller protection and payout release work before you list, or read our guide on safely transferring Ticketmaster tickets to a stranger.
Start as a sellerBuilt Between Flexibility and Protection
Secure Ticket Transfer gives fans the flexibility to arrange their own deals — with a protected coordination layer designed to reduce fraud and confusion.
Official resale marketplaces
Structured and trusted — but often expensive, restrictive, and not designed for private fan-to-fan arrangements.
- Payment protection
- Structured marketplace
- Familiar platforms
- High combined buyer/seller fees
- Limited flexibility
- Cannot easily bring outside deals into the platform
Protected fan-to-fan transfers
The flexibility of a private deal with the structure of a guided transfer workflow.
- Protected payout flow
- Verified users
- Secure messaging & coordination
- Transfer verification flow
- Dispute support
- Bring your own buyer or seller
- Lower fees than major resale marketplaces
- Flexible fee splitting (buyer, seller, or split)
Private DMs & e-Transfer
Flexible and low-friction — but often involves sending money to strangers with little accountability if something goes wrong.
- Flexible
- Direct communication
- Low friction
- No payment protection
- No transfer verification
- No dispute support
- No accountability layer
- High scam risk
Secure Ticket Transfer is a secure coordination layer — not a marketplace or escrow company. We help fans bring their own deals into a protected workflow with structure, trust, and transparency.
How Secure Ticket Transfer Compares
Built to combine flexibility, trust, and low-friction transfers.
Secure Ticket Transfer is designed for fans who already know each other — or find each other — and want a protected way to complete the transfer without losing 20–30% to marketplace commissions.
Already found a buyer or seller? Bring the deal into a protected workflow — we hold the payment, verify the transfer, and back you up if something goes wrong.
Give guests a verified peer-to-peer transfer layer. Reduce fake screenshots, door disputes, and support headaches.
How a Secure Transfer protects your transaction
A verified workflow with protected payments, identity-verified payouts, transfer proof, and dispute support — powered by Stripe.
When the buyer pays, funds are secured through Secure Ticket Transfer's protected payment flow powered by Stripe. Sellers can see payment confirmation immediately, but payouts remain protected until the transfer is verified.
Sellers complete secure payout onboarding through Stripe before receiving protected payments. This identity and payout verification helps reduce fraud and creates accountability for both sides. Stripe may ask sellers for identity and banking details before payouts can be enabled.
The seller transfers tickets through the original ticket provider (Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, etc.) directly to the buyer's verified email. We coordinate the deal — we don't issue the ticket.
Transfer timestamps, communication history, and proof uploads are recorded inside the transaction room to help create accountability and support dispute review if needed.
Once the buyer confirms receipt — or the review window expires without dispute — the seller's payout is released securely through Stripe.
What you actually get that a private chat doesn't give you
The deal can still start in a group chat. The protection starts here.
Money doesn't sit in a stranger's bank account before they've delivered.
Phone and email verification on both sides — not a blank social profile.
Screenshots, timestamps, and transaction history create a clear record.
One tap freezes the payout and opens a human review.
Sellers who deliver get paid — even if the buyer goes quiet.
Every step has a timestamp and an owner. No more 'he said / she said'.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Both buyers and sellers are protected by the same workflow. Here's what happens in the edge cases.
Time for buyers to confirm receipt before auto-release.
Freezes payouts and opens a review.
Inactive buyers don't trap funds forever.
